Christmas Volunteering Opportunities

You can’t miss it! It is everywhere… Beautiful decorated Christmas trees, carols on the radio and busy shoppers getting presents. It is the most wonderful time of the year for many children with parents and relatives to celebrate.
For children who live in institutions, orphanages, or poor communities, Christmas can be the most lonesome time. Because we know it is a difficult time of the year, Jamaica volunteer Programs work with a selected number of Orphanages during the month of December with special activities.
How Treats/Parties work:
Each year from August – December we ask our customers, subscribers, local organizations to donate gifts and food for the parties. Over a three week period we ask volunteers to join us as we do games, dance contests and other fun activities with the children. This is a time the children will treasure forever and tuck away in their hearts for the tough times.
Join us and be a part of this life changing experience. You can volunteer before Christmas or you can come after Christmas and ring in the New Year with us.
Here are the Christmas Volunteer Project Start Dates: (additional dates available)
Saturday, December 8th – Saturday December 15th
Saturday, December15th – Saturday, December 22nd
Saturday, December 29th – Saturday, January 5th, 2013
You can help us make this event a success by joining our Facebook community and spreading the word to your own Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Network.
Why not be BOLD this Christmas… Give a gift where the memories will last forever.
